A LIFE IN THE GARBAGE INTO THE LOVING CARE OF THE ASHRAM.
Vishnu (Aged 45) was leading a traumatic life. He was living in the midst of piles of garbage and its foulsmell for weeks. When we found him, he was lying in the garbage on the roadside near Rajeev Gandhi Maidan in New Panvel, Navi Mumbai. People who had noticed him, informed us that there is a man who survived by eating food which he picked from the garbage and lying there for day and night. As per the information, we went there and found him in a pathetic condition. Therefore, we rescued him from there and brought him to the Ashram. By his appearance, we could understand that he was mentally abnormal because his clothes were worn-out and many things were tied on his hands and legs. However, after he came to the Ashram, he started to respond to some of our queries. According to him, his name is Vishnu. He belongs to Gujarat and his mother tongue is Gujarati. He came to Mumbai for a job. Thereafter, he had no idea about his past or his family. The Atmosphere of Ashram had brought a drastic change in his life and now he is having a meaningful and hygienic life.
